Trauma
Unfortunately, it is quite common for people to experience trauma. All people are different, and each person responds to trauma differently. While some people are able to move forward with their lives without a second thought, others may struggle to cope. Sometimes people don’t have any immediate response, but experience anxiety, depression, or other challenges later in life as a result of the trauma. Luckily, there are certain types of therapy that are specifically shown to help victims of trauma with their healing.
We work with our clients to create a treatment plan that is specific to their emotions, challenges, and goals. Our treatments may include the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), or Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
